This Privacy Policy applies to the White Scribbler mobile application and related services operated by VIERBAG GmbH (the “Service Provider”).
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1 September 2026.
What information does the Application obtain?
The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.
If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted as part of ordinary network connectivity. VIERBAG does not retain this information or use it for tracking.
Precise location information
White Scribbler does not collect precise real-time location information from your device.
Do third parties receive information?
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, VIERBAG does not share such information with third parties.
Data Retention
White Scribbler does not require user accounts, does not create server-side user profiles, and does not keep a server-side archive of ordinary in-app activity.
Saved quotes, passages, book titles, authors, personal notes, custom tags, favorites, sort preferences, search-related state, reminder settings, export-ready content, and related preferences stored locally on your device remain under your control and are not retained by VIERBAG as personal data on its servers.
Data Deletion
Where White Scribbler stores quotes, passages, notes, book titles, authors, tags, favorites, reminder settings, sort preferences, search state, or similar information locally on your device, you can remove that information using controls available in the Application, by clearing the Application’s local storage through your device settings, or by uninstalling the Application.
If you voluntarily provided personal information to VIERBAG outside normal app use, such as by sending an email, you may request deletion by contacting support@vierbag.online.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher minimum age as required by applicable law. VIERBAG does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market the Application to them.
Security
Because White Scribbler does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of exposure of such data through VIERBAG systems is limited. No technical system is completely secure, and reasonable safeguards are applied to systems and any information lawfully held.
Data Breach Notification
If a security incident affects personal information that you voluntarily provided to VIERBAG, appropriate steps and notifications will be provided where required by applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
VIERBAG may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by publishing an updated version with a revised effective date.
Your Consent
If you voluntarily provide information to VIERBAG and processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
